Slogging away at my RFT build, I decided to start with the vest. Initially, I was planning to just go with the standard 4-pocket BDU pattern. Then I saw the references from Propstore. I still ended up modifying the BDU top. How did I do?

Since the roll seam I added doesn’t show very well in my over-exposed finished shots, here are some in-progress images.

As luck would have it, I was able to make all the pockets with material I removed from the original top.

FYI, Photobucket can be pretty funky anymore, and people can have a hard time viewing images hosted there... A couple years ago Photobucket made some changes and things got all wacky. You might try another host, if you want. I use ImgBB myself, it's the closest thing to Photobucket that I've found so far.
