Couldn't find where to put Jedi WIP pics so I thought I'd start here in hopes of someone pointing me in the correct direction. Please see attached as to my progress for my Jedi kit. I haven't put Velcro on yet because I didn't want to sew it on just to have to move it. Also don't have a belt, pouches or food pellets yet but getting there.

Great progress so far! Your soft goods look like a good fit, and the color choice looks really sharp.

New pics. Looking to be finished here. Comments? And where do I officially put up pics for review? If these are okay that is. Thanks.

That looks pretty much ready to go! I would adjust your tunics a little so the shirt you are wearing under them doesn't show at the neck, and make sure your tabards aren't overlapping in the back, but other than that, looks like it's time to submit!

Whenever you are logged into the forums, near the top of the page, under the title of the forum you're browsing, is a link to submit costumes for approval.

Don't miss that your "Action Shot" is a separate link from the rows of reference pictures! I found it easy to scroll past it.

the fit and finish look great. I like it..
but I wonder what the judges will say about brown pouches with a black belt.
they may ask for the pouches to be repainted.

this stuff works great on vinyl boots. if it comes to it, (if the judges make you repaint the pouches),
then I would try something like this.

hope this helps. cheers.

Thanks. I can easily remove the compression shirt underneath. The tabards are actually Velcroed to line up right next to each other so they don't come apart during troops.

Wasn't sure about the pouches. The CRL says leather or leather-like material but then also says the paint scheme on resin cast should blend well with overall costume. So I guess I'll wait and see. Leather looks natural leather but the black would blend. I'll have to wait and see. Would be an easy fix if it comes down to it.

Haven't taken an action shot. Didn't see that. Guess I can retake the front pic without the compression shirt and then do an action shot at the same time.

Thanks all for the help.

I had the same exact note regarding the Generic Jedi standards. I got feedback from a judge not to read too much into it; the implication is that leather pouches should also be consistent with the belt/boots.

Since those are resin pouches, they would explicitly be expected to be repainted to match the other parts, anyway. I had brown belt/boots and they made me nix the vintage black pouches I had.

Pics have been posted for review. I'll see what they say about the pouches. If I have to paint them, no big deal. I can have those done in a day. Thanks everyone for the help. Much appreciated.

Are there any issues if I change the blade color on my saber? Was thinking of going from Green to yellow.

None at all.

And I must say, your jedi is a shining example of dark colour use and can be used as an example for jedi overall

Asking about an update to my kit. I received a cloak for my birthday and obviously want to wear it. I was approved without a cloak. What, if anything, do I need to do to, officially, to add my cloak to my kit?
