Hello. I had a few questions regarding jedi knight revan. Specifically the star forge armor.

There seem to be very few people who go this route, and from every thing i have seen it is impossible to purchase star forge armor.

Hence before continuing on my build i would like to get some feedback on where it is at.

Sorry i can't get a photo to upload here

Hi there!

Yes, there are only three of us currently cleared with Jedi/Star Forge Revan, and we all made the armour ourselves. It'll be good to see another! We've also used leather, but I don't see why other materials couldn't be used if you found something appropriate.

Is that your build in the photos? From what I can see, you've done a good job with the shapes of the panels and shaping the piece to fit. What material have you used?

For linking images, trying uploading them to imgur/flickr/etc, and then using the insert image option to embed via the link when writing your post.

So far it is completely eva foam.

Using latex paints and stain for the colors

Buckles are going on.

Just a heads up this has literally all been done free hand using a dremel to create the image of individual panels.

Buckles come from a headstall.

Thank for for the positive comments. At this point the front plate is dune as the corners will be under the upper mantle and hood. They will have straps that go to the back plate in order to gold the armor up.

Looks great! I've rarely seen eva foam come out that well before. As it's foam, I'm slightly concerned about its durability long term, especially at points of stress like the shoulders and side seams. Fantastic work, though. Looking forward to seeing more updates!

Looks good! Nice shape on the tunic and mantle. The drape and folds on the mantle especially are great! Is that the final fabric or a mock up? If it's the final, do you have a close up photo showing the texture/weave? It doesn't seem to have much at the moment.

Also, I'm not sure which way round it is, but either the mask is too big or the hood too small. The bottom of the hood should rest on the shoulders, as per the reference from SWGOH and the Darth hood from KOTOR:

Additionally, if you want to wear the costume without the mask, the back of the hood should form the rounded point when down:

The armour has come out great, it's impressive work!

Fabric top and bottom

Also the hood was pulled back to far in the photo eve when placed properly it looks very similar to the swgoh version

Hood: Ah, okay. Do you have a photo of the hood, mask, and mantle with the hood in the right position?

Fabric: Both fabrics look too white at the moment - are you going to dye/stain them? Also, texture-wise, the references show a vertical and horizontal weave, rather than the diagonal twill that you've used for the upper. The lower fabric is closer, though I'd like to see more definition (but that might come once it's been coloured).
