Anyone else notice the pilots in this picture?

I've never seen the pilot costume without untucked/bloused pants before. Very interesting.

The Awards Ceremony is the only time I've seen the pants untucked.

As do I. I just found it fascinating to see it like that. I guess some costumers could leave the pants untucked if they so desired.

Some guys don't have that choice since they cut the lower part of their suit legs short for pocket mods. Wink

A New Hope = costuming on a tight budget.

They probably ran out of boots for the Ceremony shot and the actors had to wear regular shoes.

I'd rather tuck. BEsides....my over-alls have elastic at the bottom so they're tucked lookin' no matter what Confused

Mine are chopped, so I have to tuck them. That said, I like the tucked look better.
