My husband spray painted the chest greeblie and wrist-com with MTN 94 Chocolate Brown. The darker brown looks more like the color in the reference screen caps than the MTN 94 Coffee Brown.

New color MTN 94 Chocolate Brown

Old color MTN 94 Coffee Brown

I was able to get a screencap of the back of a DRT female without a backpack during a match of cargo. She was carrying the cargo when she was killed. The red cargo pack disappeared from her back and reappeared a couple of steps away so that the imperial team could send it back to their base. The game is usually so fast-paced that I was never able to get this screencap.

Thank you for the compliment.

I finished painting the helmet yesterday. The helmet is almost finished. The only things left to do is to add the padding and the disk greeblies. I made some disk greeblies out of Worbla but still have to paint them gray. I hope they will look OK. The gray leather for the visible padding arrived on Tuesday. I not sure yet, but I might be able to finish the helmet this weekend.

I also finished the wrist-com yesterday by adding brown webbing with Velcro.

I added the gray leather padding to the cheek area of the helmet and painted the self-made disk greeblies today. I will not add more padding because the helmet fits best the way it is right when I wear the cap. I think the helmet would be too tight if I add padding in the ring or try to add more padding to the cheeks.

I painted the helmet disks a darker gray and finished the helmet this week. I hope that my husband will be able to take application photos this weekend. This is my first application with a costume that does not have a CS yet. I am a little more nervous than usual.

I just submitted this costume for approval. I left the costume clean because most of my reference screencaps are either from the character selection or from the beginning of the game when the trooper is still clean or mostly clean. I never submitted a costume that did not already have a CS before. I hope that my costume is close enough to the reference screencaps to get approved.

Thank you. I have four big sticks of sand-colored chalk if I have to dirty it up. I do not want to use anything permanent because I have no experience with the process. I am too afraid to do it and destroy all my hard work.

I just realized that I never shared a unique female desert trooper that can only be seen in the official Trailer to the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif dlc. I do not think that she or her male counterparts are in the game itself. Unfortunately, I was not able to check because I own the dlc but was never able to play it. I would probably try to make her cap and goggles if I was not already working on my Tatooine Rebel Specialist.

That is a rare find. They must have only modelled the Rogue One headgear at that point when they released the trailer and put it on existing characters.

According to the charter you're able to be approved in anything that was created for/as licensed Star Wars material.

Finishing the costume is the main problem, not approval. I can make the cap and already have goggles that might work. Unfortunately, I would not be able to make the hardpack. Many of the necessary items are not available in Germany and I lack the skills to make everything from scratch. I also cannot afford to buy a complete hardpack from someone.
For now, I am just planning on finishing my started four RAID and two Rebel Commander costumes.

My female desert rebel trooper was approved today. I am very happy about this and cannot wait to wear it at FARK 2019, a large charity event from August 23rd till the 25th.
