It's actually the exact same costume as the Rebel Sullust Troopers from Battlefront 2015 so I got this helmet and can wear it without the mask. Two costumes just by switching headgear haha

Looking great on both! You've obviously put a lot of investment and quality into this. Did you do the orange hard pack for the human version as well? |

I have not but that would be fun! I am fairly certain not all of the trooper NPCs wear that backpack on the Sullust maps anyway.

That pic is of a mod, it says POLITZEI on his vest. Nien should be wearing a red jumpsuit as well.
That doesn't discount the possibility that there are unmodded Magma troopers without backpacks in that cutscene. Typically in the recent Battlefront games the male version of the costume wears a hardpack and a female version has the soft pack.
Still looks great though! Did you commission it or do it yourself? |

Wow, your costume is great. Shriv is such cool character in BF2. Good luck with your approval.

Yes, the photo is a mod. Nien Nunb should be wearing his regular outfit in this end scene.
I have not played EA BF1 in the last couple of weeks but as far as I remember the NPCs always wear some kind of pack. The men wear hardpacks or jetpack and the women wear hardpacks, jetpacks or softpacks. I have a little bit of time this week and will pay the game to check if my memory is correct or not. _________________ RAID GRRRL-Squad-Leader 2019 - present

well for RL's sake I hope there are some without a pack haha
I made the costume but gotta give shoutouts to the contributors: the mask is Chris Steven's Creations, rifle kit and some greeblies by DH-PFX, jacket is by my fiancée roboemma (RL member) and propfunk did some of the other bandolier and rank greeblies. _________________

I did play the Battlefront I Sullust levels last night, and it looks like both male and female versions of this costume wear the hardpack, despite some of the preproduction material we found in a previous thread.
(The male costume can be identified by the canteen on the left hip and more prominent yoke/arm padding, and is leftmost on this image. The female costume is in the center.)
Shriv will be fine for sure since he doesn't use a pack in any of his Battlefront II appearances. As for your human there's a chance you'll be approved since the existing approved Magma Rebel doesn't have a pack.
I love the WIP gallery you shared. Top notch work! I keep thinking your studio photo of Shriv is an image from the game, it looks so good! |

Female Sullust troopers can also have a softpack. I have some screenshots from a round of cargo that I played on March, 28th. The blond female that I played had a soft pack.

I played a couple of rounds of Dropzone this morning. When I played a female on Sullust she always had a softpack. It did not matter if my character had a helmet or hair. On Tatooine, my female character only had a softpack if she had hair. She always had a hardpack if she wore a helmet. The male characters always had hard packs or jetpacks. I was not able to take screenshots of the male characters this time but I will try take some when I play again.

Perhaps there is a technical problem. Are you getting any emails from the Rebel Legion forum? I had to change my email address and post a request to the RL admins to change it here in the forum before I applied with my Vanguard because I was not getting emails from RL and most of the 501st Legion detachments forums that I am a member of. Now everything is working fine.

Another possibility is that the judges are very busy and have not been able to take a look at your costume yet. The judging process might be longer than for generic character because your costume is a face character that does not have a costume standard. _________________ RAID GRRRL-Squad-Leader 2019 - present

That's fine but I haven't even gotten a "we have received your photos and we are trying to figure out what to do with it" email. Do you know who I could contact about this? _________________
