Hi everyone. I'm planing to make the snow gear versions of Obi-Wan and anakin from the Clone Wars episode Trespass this year with a friend for our winter parades and other cold weather events like the polar plunge. Has anyone made these outfits? If not, does anyone have suggestions of fabrics or base patterns we can modify? Here's the concept art and some images from the episode:

okay, well since no one has responded I'm gonna guess this is a legion first.

It appears from various screencaps that the patterns of Obi-Wan and Anakin will be identical, with boots and pants being the same patterns, fabrics and colors. The jackets should theoretically be same material, the only difference will be colors. They should be straightforward, the only parts we aren't sure on are:

A) closures, as there isn't on visible and it's quite difficult to pull a quilted winter coat over one's head, and
B) how to attach/what is the front center flap below the belt. The sides deifinitely overlap it, and it is defitely not the same as his standard tabbards and tunic skirts from season 1. Is it special heavier duty winter tunics? Any opinions or speculation would be helpful.

I've ordered some fabric samples for the jackets. We want them to be waterproof and quiltable since we want to wear them at parades with sleet, snow and rain. As such I've ordered a waterproof canvas, and two types of nylon ripstop that didn't look overly shiny on the web. If anyone has any other ideas, let me know, as I'm color limited with waterproof fabrics. They don't dye very well Laughing
