I finally was able to Find, Afford and Win, an auction for a Silver Kobold Flash Tube for my ROTJ Han. I just got it from the UK.

Now I have to paint the bottom black and remove the bracket.

way to go!
I have been looking and have been unable to find one myself...I'll probably just go with a resin kit when the time comes. I currently have no deadline other than I'd like to finish it by the end of the year...so I have time ;-)
But again, nice find!

Thanks. I got a resin also, but just was not happy with it. The one I got is junk I think. Make sure you find one that has good details that are not lost in the molding process.

That's cool. Does it have a vibration motor in it too, or just a light?

there's also this one.
I would imagine this is hollow(?) so you could probably install a vibration motor in it.

its $10 cheaper and it has no light, no 9V battery -- its just an all-metal replica

its an alternative to resin, anyways.

Please let me know how that above droid caller works out. i think i just ordered the same one on ebay (evolutiontoysshop). It has to be better than the Costume Base one I mistakenly picked up....

Also i have to apologize, as i posted a droid caller topic without knowing this one existed!!

So...blasters...I've decided that I'll focus my efforts on ESB Han when the time comes. I'm tempted to go with the blastech denix and kit, but just curious what the other options are out there in case I missed something.

I located a pretty informative link on how to create a sturdy and pretty accurate ROTJ Han blaster.

http://www.duplinnet.com/bobadebt/Tutorial%20Basic%20Blaster/han_e6_blaster_mauser%20prep.htm

It's do-able if your apt to machine work. I suppose you could apply the design to an airsoft version with resin parts could be created as well if you have that capability.

That tutorial isn't complete. You get to a certain point and there are no more links to take you further. Neutral

That's also not the RoTJ version, that's the ANH version, with that scope and mounting bracket.

pretty sure that bracket is ESB/ROTJ. And the scope is what is suggested for ESB/ROTJ from what I've read elsewhere, also if you look where it's cut it's much shorter than the ANH version.
