Describe_Event = Modesto is the home of George Lucas and May 4th was officially proclaimed Star Wars Day by the Modesto City Council in 2014. Since then we have celebrated with a Free Event in the heart of Downtown Modesto (and the classic American Graffiti Cruise Route). There is live music, a lightsaber battle and other fun activities. We are encouraging the local business to donate a percentage of sales to the St Luke Children Hospital.
