How to be a Point of Contact (POC)!

Some of you are aware of the term “point of contact” from other clubs and how Endor Base sometimes uses it for troops. Well, now we’re going to start having one for every troop! What does that mean? Well, we will have a designated Rebel Legion trooper who will do the following:

    Have a list of the people attending and their costume;
    Create a group chat on Facebook for all troops and update the chat;
    Arrive early to the event and introduce themselves to the event requestor and scope out the changing area;
    Work with the event requestor on what Legion members will be doing at the troop (i.e.where will pictures be taken, is there a specific time we are needed for something). Note the RC of the Region should introduce the POC for each event to the Event Requestor. Per Command Staff the POC should be the most senior CS attending. Order as follows: Donald Wicks (Wrenthejedi) -> Jason Leibowitz (Lebo1138) -> Jen Hyman (Larirenshadow) -> Regional Captains -> Club Officer -> Volunteer from the sign up *this can be passed if it is appropriate to do so;
    Ensure a group picture is taken;
    In the event of any issues, report them directly to CS as they arise;
    At the conclusion of the event, thank the event requestor for inviting RL. If desired, give the event requestor our card and a patch if you have it as a thank you;
    Fill out the new Mission Report: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScY_7sHaqgZtT_Ru6VHe93RwHIGbhI1iSnmcMmPjOS-lHeLGA/viewform?usp=sf_link

This will hopefully ensure that all Mission Reports are filed in a timely manner and account for troopers as much as possible.

Please note that the POC MUST be trooping RL and only signed up RL.

Oh so is this the new event mission report procedure? I read at the top "point of contact", maybe clarify at the top if this is how you want us to do Mission Reports? Only a suggestion!
How are we assigning points of contact? Are we having members sign up and then volunteer or are you assigning them?
I’m jus curious on the new procedure 🙂
