Greetings Rebels!
Name's Ben, I'm a current member of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club living in Victoria, Australia. And herein I'm hoping to showcase/document my Star Wars: The Old Republic Armoured Jedi build.
Here is the armour as it stands now. The chest and waist armour are vacformed ABS (and I have no idea who made it - it was bought second-hand from someone, several years ago, who had also forgotten the maker). The rest of the armour is from Mynock's Den.
I also have a lightsaber(s) ready for this costume but - depending on whether it's approvable to do so - I may alternate or exchange it for a crossguard lightsaber (think Kylo Ren's lightsaber, but obviously different hilt design and different blade colour).

The armour pieces are looking very nice! I look forward to seeing them finished.
And the lightsaber also looks great.
I think Kylo Ren's style is currently a no go unless something have changed since it was last discussed. Unless you have references of armoured TOR jedi with that style of lightsaber?
What character/armour are you making specifically from TOR? _________________

Well crossguard lightsabers are obtainable in Star Wars: The Old Republic - guarantee I could find more than a few people using them haha
Just making a generic armoured Jedi. |

Bringing this thread back from the grave; took a long hiatus from working on this kit, getting back into it now!
What I've done:
Gauntlets - trimmed the alcove out of both top halves and a bit of the overlap off the bottom halves, then heat-shaped them to align and glued the halves together with Araldite.
Shins - heat-shaped so both halves align (almost) perfectly, held together temporarily with masking tape. Trying to come up with a closure method that will work with them and fit the CRLs; any suggestions?
Thighs - one thigh has been perfectly aligned and glued together with Araldite. The other has been glued together along one edge, and needs heat-shaping to get it to line up properly.

Thanks!
Trying to source a set of thermals to wear under the armour, so I can start mounting soon(ish). Heading into summer here in Australia, though; really picked a bad time to need thermals!! ^_^' |

Heh, not in season down under. Ordering from the northern hemisphere might be too expensive, but it is in season here. _________________

Haha, that was my first thought. Trawled the length and breadth of Amazon, found a bunch of cheap options and a few costlier ones ... and NONE of them ship to Australia!! |
