How does everyone mitigate this..?

I've just done an independent troop and the chestbox was bobbing around and coming loose when I walked.

I've cut the hose down and got magnets on chestbox and buckle (although may not be strong enough).. I had to stop trooping just In case it unclipped and fell forward onto some unsuspecting kid.

Pics would help

I know some people have been using Velcro or magnets to keep the bottom of the box from flopping around, but using the original UK fuel hose (for TFA), I find it's not an issue and doesn't flop around on me hardly at all, unless I have to run. But that has happened maybe once so far Smile The clip on my box is a good, long type that is used for leather belt gear, so it stays on my chest loop just fine.

Or, are you using the much more flexible reproductions or the TLJ type hose?

I've now replaced mine for a much longer clip so hopefully that coupled with some industrial velcro at the bottom should keep it down

You answered my question about the hose and the vest. Lol

This what I had done the flask jacket re-weathered it and need to adjust the box and hose

@philonius was the one who made this suit and vest
