Hi there, just getting my parts together for an EP IV RFT build.

I already have the boots (from my X wing pilot), pants (gray BDU), vest (black BDU shirt), belt (Tandy buckle and leather dyed), holster and helmet. Currently building my DH-17 blaster.

I built the helmet myself. I bought a genuine WW II Navy Talker helmet, and I made a mold of it and fabricated the buck. Then did a vac form, which was then used to create the base helmet, swoop and the front shield and the black shield like the originals. For the chin cup I 3D modelled a chin cup from scratch and created a buck and vac formed that as well. The com box was create from scratch using wood and washers etc.

Is the helmet approvable? I would think so since it's made the same way as the originals and the other makers use the same base helmet as well. But I wanted to check to be sure.

Thanks in advance!

*Sorry for the water marks, people have been stealing my photos!

This is great! I copied my Scout Biker after your build thread over at the Pathfinders and now I get to watch you here. Beautiful work as always. How about doing an Endor Commando next?

Looks great!

Are you going to sell these, or is this just for you and maybe some friends?

(I'm not in the market; just curious)
