Attended by 50 - 60 + members of 501st, Rebel Legion, Droid builders, and Galactic Academy. They came from all over NY state and Canada.

Largest event in Rochester, NY

This was the sixth year and was extended into a third day, Monday / Columbus day. Everyone had a great time as always. A well run event by all. Thank you to all.

So this weekend was nothing short of amazing!! The countless kids and families that we got to make smile and brighten there day I wouldn’t trade for the world.

But I wanna share a story with you, Sunday I wore my Jedi and started to get in the grove of things as kids were coming up to us. Here comes this little girl dressed as a jyn. I kneel down to her level as she was trying to talk to me and proceeded to say “um I’ve see all the movies and um(I can’t remember the rest), but she then goes and ask me “you know who my favorite character is” and I reply who’s that, she goes, “you are”, if there’s a moment I ever wanted a bucketed character this is the time. I instantly had to hold back the tears cause her answer caught me off guard, then without missing a beat I asked her you know who my favorite character is?, she goes “no” and I replied you are! But wait there’s more, she further goes and ask “you know who I am?”, of course I said you’re jyn, but she fires back with, “well my real name is Zoe but you can call me jyn”, I said well then I’ll call ya jyn.

To say my heart melted was an understatement.
