On 9/30/18, Echo Base attended the 3rd Annual ACLD Foundation Walk on Long Island, New York. They had a lot of sponsors, including WBLI, and had a great turnout for both a 1K and a 5K. There were plenty of volunteers, like Girl Scouts troops, and a lot of support from the people from each town that showed up to represent. It was a wide age range, and people were excited to see various Star Wars characters, and just talk to us about the movies. This was also Mike Polizzi's first troop ever. Cheri Nowak also attended for Rebel Legion and members of 501st were there as well.
