So playing through Battlefront II, I noticed that the Fleet Troopers that pop up throughout the game have some pretty cool gear, are carrying new weaponry, and a lot of them are not wearing the helmets. I've always liked the look of the fleet troopers' costumes, just never cared for the helmets, so I could never justify the cost of getting a helmet I don't like haha. Additionally, this would open the door to several types of alien Fleet Troopers. In the game, we see a Quarren and a Twi'lek female in Fleet Trooper uniforms.

1. Light blue bib shirt with fold-down collar. No visible buttons or other fixture hardware, no visible button holes.

2. Collarless black vest with 4-pocket layout on the front, one large pocket across the back of the shoulders, and 4 pockets along the bottom of the back of the jacket. All pockets except the lower rear pockets feature flaps.

3. Light or medium gray BDU trousers with cargo pockets on the sides.

4. Mid-calf jack or engineer-style boots. No visible laces or buckles, zippers must be hidden or on the inside of the calf, and must be black.

5. Solid leather or vinyl black belt w/no holes or decorations. Plain metal rectangular, octagonal or oval belt buckle.

1. Brown leather strap (same width as belt) slung across the chest, holding cylindrical grenades in slots. 2 grenades minimum.

2. Era-appropriate blaster rifle, preferably the A280 or A280 CFE.

3. EITHER a large brown canvas shoulder bag, square shaped, with single main flap with securing strap, tied onto to belt and hung at the hip. Bag should hang just below the belt line, and reach from hip-to-thigh, and be approximately 8" across.
Brown/Black leather sidearm holster, hung from pants belt, resting on the thigh.

1. Accurate fleet trooper helmet (EpIV style, no decals).

2. Era-appropriate sidearm blaster.

3. Rank badge, square, gray in color, featuring only red or green dots.

4. Additional small square canvas or leather pouch, affixed to grenade strap. Should be approximately 5" tall, 3-4" across, and feature a single access flap with securing strap. Must be worn just behind the wearer's hip (behind either the holster or hip bag).

5. Additional black/charcol grey supply pouch w/single rounded access flap, slung at the hip from the grenade strap.

So there's my breakdown, lets discuss!

From what I understand, most costumes can be worn as an alien, and that allows you to not wear the costume's traditional headgear if it wouldn't fit on that species' head. But seeing it directly in a published source definitely makes it possible.

You are correct to point out that some human Rebel Fleet variant troopers do not wear headgear. You actually have two different uniforms shown in your screenshots. Most are of the Rebel Fleet Assault trooper, which is the same as a Rebel Fleet Trooper but with the bandolier. I have detailed out the costume in my other thread. I did fail to mention that on the Naboo mission that they can go without headgear, I've edited it to include that.

The last pic you showed with the brown satchel is a different uniform, that of the Rebel Fleet Specialist -- the sniper class. I've just made a new post detailing it out in my other thread.
