I think that since either the leather or fabric method achieves the appropriate look, both options should be given in the standards. It was SO hard for this group to figure out, I doubt that visually it'll make any difference. _________________ "I'm no Jedi. Just a guy with a Lightsaber, and a few questions." -Kyle Katarn

I guess the CRL can note that using waxed fabric is the most accurate but thin leather is still allowed if the general consensus says both should be allowed. _________________ Jamie Park

I could see that. In the end the jacket looks like a leather jacket when you look at it. Living in Southern California though, it will be nice to have a lightweight jacket for this costume so waxed cotton it is for me! |

I guess this makes it solid that the jacket is in fact fabric. |

I think he is one of the only character whose costume’s parts all have swatches released. Which is great for us!
(I hope they release physical fabric swatches through Topps Masterworks but that’s just a long shot...) _________________ Jamie Park

We went to see it again this weekend, and yes, there is a super clear tush shot. Not only are there no pockets, but there is a U shaped riding pants seam. Kinda like in this picture:

Star Wars does love to see riding seams in the back....
Where it would be great to see that detail and applicants can certainly add the detail...I don't think I would make it a requirement. _________________

I absolutely agree. I’d list it as optional. _________________ Legion Costuming Judge: Officers, Rebel Supporters

I'm not sure it's a full riding seam. I think it may be more of a patch. I think it's more like what Jenna posted with the photo of the work pants but until there are references perhaps any sort of back detail similar to the two suggested styles would be acceptable? |

Just glad I ordered extra material for the pants I got! Another modification to add. Going to have to be real nice to the wifey. |

Yeah, it doesn't look like a full ridding seam, I believe it s commonly referred to as a saddle patch. Usually found on motorcycle or cycling pants.

Any ideas on how I can make a white shirt look like Poe's shirt color? |
