So i was looking over the photos of of the Poe suit photos from NYCC 2017
Something i noticed a little differences from TFA like the little front piece that has a little dome seems to be two separate pieces instead on a one piece with the dome part being made of the same material as the upper.
I noticed the grey coloured padding on the inside which made me think these were riding boots and that's the extra padding that rides against the horse.
So armed with this i went looking and found these

Obviously they would need cutting down..
What do you think ? |

Cheaper elsewhere for 19 pounds. I think manufacturer is called HMK?

They've been cut down.. look at the NYCC pics, the inner padding (I circled it on the picture - used in riding boots for when the riders legs are against the horse) travels to the top and it looks like there should be more..
on two buckle mucker boots the padding stops before it reaches the top as seen below)
*EDIT GIL: Lets not have multiple threads discussing the same thing

Yeah, if someone finds some boots in the US, please post it. I need a TLJ pair myself... _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

If they'd be worn exposed like some of the TLJ pilots, probably not. We don't usually accept zippers on the front of boots unless they're hidden... _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

Has anyone found a good option for boots in the US? I can't find anything that looks remotely similar and doesn't have a big old zipper up the front. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

I found these on US ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/132448064717
The brand as a couple styles with the right type of lowers. If you're covering the uppers like TFA, I think you're good. |
