Hello,

If this is not the right place please do tell.

I want to make a generic jedi and i was wondering if the following would pass the RL standard
https://www.etsy.com/listing/269156961/5-piececustom-star-wars-jedi-costume?ref=shop_home_active_4
I want to get the one in brown/beige

And for the shoes would this one be acceptable?
http://bit.ly/2hOGmGA

Thanks in advance
Daphne

You'll probably get an answer here, but the best place for Jedi costume questions is the Jedi Costume Forum.

Hi!

The costume you linked to looks nice, but one thing that jump out to me is that the sleeves of the outer tunic are too short. According to RL standard the sleeves should at least reach the knuckles when the arms are held down (given that the set is custom, though, that shouldn't be a problem, just take your measurements accordingly).

I'm not a judge, so take it with a grain of salt, but I'm not sure the boots would pass, due to the imprinted shield, as far as I know decorations that are recognizably from an Earth culture or historic period aren't allowed.

As having my own generic Jedi costume the sleeves have to be a little longer and you cant have any logos that are earthly but you should be able to get rid of it.

Maybe it would be nice to wait a judge opinion on the fabric itself. Wink
