Hello everyone, my name is Lorenzo, from Italy, or Italian Base if you prefer Smile
I am building a RFT, and I have decided to post a WiP here, to show you my progresses and listen to your advice.

I already have the light blue shirt, two of them btw, in order to make the bib, the BDU vest, the helmet, DH17, Brown leather belt and holster plus two belt boxes that I use also on my Staff Officer (yeah I have costumes in the 501st too Very Happy Very Happy)
the Light grey Rothco pants are on their way from the USA (they were VERY difficult to find at a Human price, we suffer a lot shipment and fees)
and I have purchased some jackboots form Germany.

here is a wip of the black vest, over the shirt I will wear (bib still missing I know).

what do you think guys? too much open?

if I keep the vest as above, the collar will be like this

are the sleeve long enough?
what do you think?

I also have a doubt on my helmet. witch one of these two elastic should I use?

i'll wait your opinion guys, thank you

With regard to the elastic, use whichever fits the chin cup better. Hope that answers the question!

time to update this Smile

belt with octagonal bucket and belt boxes (used also on my imperial officer Very Happy ).

My weapon, a 3D printed DH17 with brown leather holster

BDU jacket;

quoting the CRL

3. Black, collarless vest with no visible buttons or ornamentation of any kind. There are 2 options for the vest front:
a) Vest can be the standard as purchased BDU shirt with 4 pocket layout on the front that you remove the collar and the sleeves.

I kept the 4 pockets layout.

Pants;Rothco BDU pants, grey.. from USA.

my helmet, with combox and antenna.

Boots are leather marching boots, from Germany.

Shirt is still in progress, we are attaching the bib to the shirt. hope it will be finished in a couple of days

Mr. Green

cheers
