I love how your color scheme looks! Well done!

Thank you. I was aiming to replicate Yosh Calfor as in the Topps cards. Hated all the masking for the brown and black on the vest.
I could add more tan wash on the jacket to bleach it out a bit more.
The brown on the vest is a little bright and could have done with me picking a darker shade of brown but I think the feel is right. Pop studs could do with being black too but that's a pretty easy fix to remove the brown paint from those.

Wanted some thoughts on the hoth like patch some of the rebels are wearing on their tunics. Just guessed the size at 4" wide by 2.25" tall. Presentation software basic shapes, exported to an image file. Is about right? Also curious about the patch dimensions and rectangles.

I am making one right now...I will post some photos when I am finished...
The dimensions I used are 4.5" x 3.0" I think.

On a similar note, what about the small pocket double pocket or whatever on the left sleeve that appear to have some type of ammo shell in them?

Thanks Todd - was thinking this could be printed directly to cotton canvas, or an iron on transfer to a piece of cloth. Very interested in a patch or patch pattern to use.

Yes the two "C battery" holders on the top of the left tunic arm, took a couple of screen shots but have to look again. It appears to be only two holders sewn into the tunic, and a guess on the greeblies - 'battery' was the first thing that came to mind.

Couple of photos for the tunic - looks like only 2 'grenade holders' on the left arm (40mm?).

The holders also appear slightly tilted, and it's a loop - open at both ends from what I can tell.

Hello guys

First of all MANY thanks for putting all this valuable information into one thread...even if MANY pictures are gone, it still contains a lot of good input for new costumers, like me!

I am currently putting a R1 Rebel trooper together as well, the "Topps Trooper" with the M1 helmet, grenade carrying vest etc.

While I have most of the parts, I am still missing a set of spats for my shoes...anyone able and willing to provide me a set, completely sewn with the "pockets" for the cylinders, ready to attach these to my shews?!

Open to suggestions, since I don´t have any experience with leatherworking

Many thanks in advance!

Got it from Diamond State Props. It's their A300 model. They sent it finished and primed, I just had to paint and weather the thing.

One more question, since i couldn´t find a definite answer...does this guy here have the brown boots/ gaiters OR would he be good with black boots and the swiss army gaiters?

Talking about the TOPPS soldier with the A300 on his shoulder:
