CRL has them as short, light-colored leather work gloves. You can find a pair at Lowe's or Home Depot. Just make sure they are NOT suede. I use these pair with my costume. Make sure to heavily weather them so they aren't as yellow.

The Star Wars costume books says they are Wells Lamont gardening gloves. I bought mine from ebay. They are also available on Amazon. |

walmart has a great, light colored tan leather glove with no markings. _________________ Once I was Dewka, but now I'm just G'nott sH'urr

Some of the work gloves I've seen are quite yellow and I was wondering if something along the lines of a WW2 paratrooper glove would look better as they're far more tan.
I saw some in a display in St Mere Eglise last week and their colour looked better to me than the yellow I commonly see in gloves. |

I was thinking more tan too, but I just found this weird/awesome set photo, and you can see the gloves are yellower than the shirt, just dirty. I think washing yellow gloves in soapy water (a lot of the dye will come out), and then getting them dirty will do the trick.

That picture would imply more used engine oil than olive oil. Filthy almost
I must get dirtier. |

Fresh mulch is an excellent source of dirt to distress the gloves without the risk of hardening them. |

Yep it's this kind. However you would have to replace the small "rope' with a beige one and paint the plastic, except if you can find them already in the right color (found it also under "motorbike gloves" (in french) on french side, but they are bit more expensive. _________________ CO Rebel Legion Helvetica Base (serving Switzerland)
