Progress looks good. Smile

You might want to take the weathering on the boots down on notch; it looks pretty heavy in the pictures.

Hair and beard looks close. (Minus the grey).

Thanks for the feedback! I can definitely take down the weathering on the boots a bit.

Hey! Couple questions:

Your boots are Funtasma Captain Boots, right? The pics on Amazon don't show the straps near the bottom. Did those come with the boots or did you make them.

Did you hide the zippers?

to my eye those are not funtasma captain boots.
those look like maybe Rubie's (tm) Obi-wan boots(?)

-======-

I made some obi-wan boots using funtasma "captain 100" as the base boot:

before: http://imageshack.com/a/img24/5589/p8d1.jpg
after: http://imageshack.com/a/img825/892/s5nu.jpg

there's no need to hide the zipper on 'captain100' boots. the zippers in these pics are fine (for example).

zippers are allowed on the 'inside' of the leg (meaning: where the "inseam" of your pants would be).

zippers are only a problem when they are located on the other side of the leg (the 'outside' of the leg);
or at the back of the boot.

(to hide a zipper at the back:
run 2 strips of self-adhesive velcro up the back of the boot, each 1/2inch wide, 1 strip on either side of the zipper;
create a strip of brown vinyl, 1-inch wide -- attach velcro to backside of this vinyl;
use your 1-inch strip of vinyl to cover the zipper (attached with velcro on either side of the zipper)

(if that makes any sense) Razz

cheers.
