What saber would be best for Padawan era Obi-Wan? I'd prefer a combat/duelling-grade saber

This is a Christmas gift for my kid Smile Ben

The accurate version imo would be the Korbanth version. Not for dueling but is beautiful. Saberforge has a dueling version but their manufacturing and installs are sometimes bad. Sharp edges and sometimes not the hobbi standard installs. You can clean them up in the end. Ultrasabers is almost the same as SF. They are massive but installs are crappy. I would get an empty and install it myself. If you don't do installs you can always send it to an installer/smith. These are the ones I know. There are some other companyes worth checking (not OWK) Vader's Vault, GCS, JQ Sabers, KR Sabers and Solo's Hold, Shtock Cuctoms, CJ Props etc.

If you're looking for the version from the Jedi Apprentice book series, Force Relics makes one in kit form, but it may be a bit more expensive than you're looking for : https://www.etsy.com/ForceRelics/listing/510081172/obi-wan-apprentice-saber-kit?utm_source=Copy&utm_medium=ListingManager&utm_campaign=Share&utm_term=so.lmsm&share_time=1502728877532
