So here is what i'm seeing so far:
-lower holster position
-added thigh strap on holster with buckle on the front. Same size and style as leg straps? Possibly lighter color - more silver than gray?
- 4 lights on chestbox: (2) white in center, (2) blue on side |

I wonder if that thigh strap helps keep the blaster from flopping around. I have a feeling that is what it is for. Similar to Han's blaster rig. |

yes, I'm guessing since he's shown running frantically, they had to add that on. |

Easy addition, I do like the chest box lights, my husband may need to build a second on for his kit to include those. |

I have yet to buy Gerry's chest box yet, but I was wondering if it is hollow enough to be able to wire all four lights. Seen members light up the two center boxes.
Also thinking of using either translucent plexiglass/acrylic sheets, or some Tamiya translucent paint on clear sheets for some added color to the small boxes when not lit. |

well, I will try to put up a pic, but I have that box and it is not set up for the 2 side lights. It's not open behind in that area, only the middle part is removable and open. So I lit the 2 center lights above the green, but only those.
I used white acrylic pieces to replace his included solid plastic "buttons", then I built a framework behind them inside to mount my LEDs. Since I was wiring 3, I used a 9v battery, and was able to get it all in there, but it is a tight fit.
Best I can tell, to get the side ones lit up too, will require some significant cutting and modification of the back and middle area of the box.
Right now my plan is to alter my holster to the new thigh strap, and wait to see if a new box surfaces that has more of the rear open. |

Yeah the current 3D printed chest box does not really allow for additional lights, however maybe we will get lucky enough for someone like DarthHair to make a Vac. formed version that all this can be added to. |

Hose looks like its a lot more flexible. Maybe they went with a foam copy too! _________________ Generic Clone Wars-era Jedi

Got my holster modified for thigh placement. Had to replace the existing belt strap to lower the position, plus add the thigh strap with buckle. I just riveted a small piece of strap onto the back for it to go through.
Really happy with the outcome, I like the lower position much better. It's easier to pull out and not blocked by the snack pouch now. Plus, it's more visible and I like the look of the added strap.

Looks like the chest box hose now attaches to the hip via some sort of aluminum fitting. |

Hi! I'm in the process of putting together a generic X-Wing pilot costume. My friend, knowing this, took a bunch of high res pics of The Last Jedi X-Wing costumes with his fancy camera at SDCC. I thought people here would like them (though you all figured things out well from the trailer stills). If you'd like to take a look, they're in a shared file on Google Drive. Don't know how much they'll help, but in any case, they're good for reference
