Some tips on the costume part, but a good detailing on the necklace and brooch. A costume I've been fixing up for the past 5 or so years.

I know that this has not been updated in a while... and most likely the fabric isn't carried anymore. But were did you get your burn out material? Thank you for your tutorial! I love all of the pictures!

Are you referring to the skirt material? Most ladies use lace purchased from JoAnn's fabrics.

Yes. I was referring to the skirt material. It is super hard to find but I am such a stickler for details. I really want to get it as close as possible. Still, years later, I have yet to pull the trigger on this costume because I can't find this fabric or something close enough to my liking. Hopefully my trip to Cali will yield something

Does anyone have a good pattern for the sleeves? I'm stalled on this costume trying to find one. I know Natalie's had buttons on the inside and I'd like to be as accurate as possible in that respect.

I just drafted mine on my arms (did each separately to account for slightly differently sized hands/thumbs due to an old injury) and then on the muslin draft (while wearing them) I drew on the keyhole opening and buttons to match pictures. My buttons arent functional as I used a stretch pleather and didnt need them to be but I cut out the keyhole and stitched them in place so they look like they are.
