I got a helmet from Chris hale too. Do you have any pictures of the back how you attached the spine to the helmet?

I used some 1/4" L200 foam. Glued it to the helmet and costed it in body filler. Seems to work pretty well. It took a couple thin layers and you'll have to be careful not to poke it, or it could crack. If I had more patience, a thickened fiberglass resin would probably work and less likely to crack if hit.

I'm still waiting on my flightsuit to be done. I had planned to have this done several months ago. Shouldn't be too much longer.

cool. Should we make the edges of the spint flush with the back of the helmet?

Love this!

Can I ask how/where you got the yellow lens in that wide size? I am doing a Rodian version of this costume and had to add a couple inches in width to make the helmet work. The yellow lens that came with my kit is for normal sized helmets

I made a mold and Vac formed it. I gave my molds to Chris Hale in So Cal. Contact him via Facebook .

Any chance you have an email address for him? I'm one of about 6 people left in the world without Facebook.
