Really excited to have this in-hand! It'll be part of my application for RL membership and first costume approval sometime before the end of the week.

First post which I feel is to get on the right foot I may as well show off my newly made bucket. It's a Porkins style, helmet came from DHPFX with some stickers. Paint job and weathering was done by me and my wonderful imagination Razz Mainly airbrushed with Tamiya Acrylic paint, enamel clear coated and then weathered with watered down acrylic and Enamel spray. All in all process only took half the day. I'm pretty happy with the turn out and I hope you all enjoy it.

With that, I'm currently working on my chest box and figuring out where to get a flight suit and flak vest that'll fit for a more......Porkins body style? Very Happy

I put a tribute on mine on the lower portions of the sides and had it placed so if someone is facing me, it reads left to right to them. And while I'm at it, sharing my helmet! Excuse the last one with me doing a test drive. I hadn't completed my kit yet.

I am currently working on getting my wife's X-wing costume approved, but the first she wanted to see finished was her helmet.

My wife's favorite color is green, so her X-wing helmet had to be in some shade of green.

My 2nd helmet turned out much better than my first. This time, I went for the classic Luke Skywalker ANH design, but with a hidden secret. Inside, I packed electronics that do voice recognition and allow me to remotely control R2-D2's sounds hands-free.

Here is a demonstration:
