Hello All! I figured that since the CRL is getting close to done I would import my build from the RPF over here too. I am doing a generic Scarif Rebel Trooper and not any specific character.
Here is the build thread and assorted research from myself and several other troopers.

I will toss up some more detailed pics but this thread on the RPF also has some great info if you have not read it.

Close-up of the A300 Sniper configuration. I call her "Trixie".

Lookin' good! I am really impressed with the rifle, helmet and vest. I woul love to see some close up pics of the vest. Also, where did you get the boot top? Or did you make it? _________________ Todd (Toda) - RAID XO

Thanks! The add ons to the rifle were designed and printed by myself and the scope is a cast I made of found scope parts.
The Vest is modified with canvas belts, a few extra nylon pieces and a cast badge. The paint was the easiest part!
The boot tops are vintage WWII two buckle boot toppers that were removed from a pair of shelled boots. They just happen to have the right color and distressing to match my chelsea boots.

Nice! That's a nice build! I'm also working on a generic scarif commando, has this cleared? |

I was told my WW2 repro double-buckle boots needed to be black, that the collars were the wrong shade, and that the buckles were wrong.
So I went with my WW2 repro roughouts and a $30 pair of Swiss gaiters. Word of warning to others.
