My bet on the goggles is that Lucasfilm's prop team "recycled" the ones Han wore in "The Empire Strikes Back"...

I would agree that Luke, Leia and Lando's goggles are, at the very least, based on those goggles--with added leather and greeblies. But Han's goggles are not the same model, at least in my opinion.

I say that because the welding goggles he wears in ESB have a straight top across the lenses; however, his "Sandstorm" goggles are really just two round lenses with a bridge piece across the nose:

From what I can see, Han's goggles are built off a base that looks more like these:

But again, the exact, particular details of the goggles are not clear. But for overall shape and structure, I would say these are closer to what he wears in the deleted scene.

We'll leave this open for about another week for discussion, and then move on to voting...

you`re welcome, is good to have more costume variation, and those are no so hard to do.

I think having a main Han Solo with the elements common to all for the formal and then have the options be the accesories with the stipulation that elements do not cross over, binders could not be worn with goggles, pike cannot be used with cloak, etc. It is a little like how the myriad of scavenger Reys were handled in doing her standard, a main base costume and then optionals added that are seen together, goggles only if headwrap is present for example.

And like it or not, our charter allows for all things Star Wars as long as there are two reference photos and one is head to toe. If Shaak Ti deleted scene has not been done it is either due to lack of references or no one has shown an interest in doing it.

Either of these Hans would be a good entry level costume so go for it.
