I have a good friend who is interested in doing a Leia Organa costume (the one from Episode 4) and I'm not sure how she should start. Is there any input on what gown and belt to get? Thanks! |

Hi Loren. We've got a lot of great resources here, and one of the best places to get started is the Leia form itself. Lots of people have shared their construction info or asked similar questions to what you are asking in the past.
This post, in particular, gets updated monthly with a list of tutorials and threads for each costume.
I'm going to go ahead and move this thread into the Leia form itself so that more of our Leia costumers see it and can help you out. _________________

Heya Loren!
Have her sign up for forum access. The RLGS sub-forum is rich with suggestions, patterns and ideas. It's basically going to be up to her on some options. (Hair, wig vs extension.) Boot preferences. There's a few fabric options for the dress and depending on her height vs width of fabric may determine how to best construct the dress. (Two piece vs one.) _________________ Alpha 75 - "No Instructions? No problem!"
