Obviously the charter states that we can not discriminate, so have at it. I say the more Jawas the better.

Zubwen was around 5'6" I believe. He appears to be about 2-4 inches shorter than 3PO (Anthony Daniels is about 5'9"). But he is the tallest Jawa I believe was ever seen on film, so it is by no means a 'normal' height.

All kidding aside though, really if there is a build you want to do, go for it no matter what. I personally will no do a build that is outside my height because it would be odd to see a 4'11" Vader, but again, that is my judgement call for myself. Everyone has the right to do any build they want.

Nah, My fiancee is about 5'5" and she can pull it off fine. If you are really worried about it, make the hood slightly larger to make your head look bigger. That will give you the illusion of a smaller proportions. If you don't want to try that, just bend at the knees slightly for photos lol I find myself doing that when taking photos with young kids so I don't look so tall, and I'm 4'11"

I have a Resin Ion blaster that would only need a new coat of paint. I'll send you a PM.

I'd love to find a pre-made Jawa (or Tusken)

Whos to say there isnt taller jawas? We allow generic wookies and hefty Jedi... the idea here is to reproduce screen accurate costumes. If the fabric etc. is correct...why would size matter?? We never claimed to be impersinating the characters on screen, its a costuming organization. Right?

I'm also working on a Jawa. Since my daughter (who is 10) is already one, I thought it would be fun to do one as well. I realize I'll stick out some at 6'7" but it's what I'd like to do. I realize I'll hear some jokes about my height but I'm used to it out of costume, so it won't make any difference to me.

Our garrison has a 5'11" jawa, too. She has a "crown" she made of junk, and plays the jawa queen. We surround her with all of the kids we can scrounge up from 501st members with kids in the GA. It's a riot. Smile

The kids definitely steal the show, though. There is NOTHING cuter than a child in a jawa costume, shaking her blaster at people and steal stuff for their little wagon of electronics junk. LOL
