Hopefully this is the right forum for the is costume, but , it looks to me that Diego Luna's character from Rogue, rumored to be named "Cassian Andor" is a Captain. So, I thought this would be an appropriate place to start a discussion thread regarding the costume.
Some initial thoughts. The shirt is clearly a Han Solo ESB style shirt in a Beige/Tan color. The jacket seems very TFA in design, especially the stitching on collar, shoulder and greeblie insert on the chest. There looks like there are embroidered blood stripes on the sleeve, although I am not sure if they are brown or yellow. The khaki pants in this shot seem to be different than the pair displayed in Nuremberg. The latter having front cargo pockets.

The costumes displayed in Nuremburg.
It looks like the Jacket is the same under the parka. The pants appear to be different than in the above shot. Jyn and Cassein have the same boots.
It looks like Jyn has the same jacket under her vest. Here the bloodstripes look decidedly yellow.

The shirt he is wearing looks like it's a longer breasted section than the Han bespin shirt... I could be wrong. But the replica bespin shirts I've seen seem shorter compared to this. |

We can have the discussion on the costume here, but we will have to wait until the movie comes out before a decision is made on which detachment it belongs. _________________ past Galactic Strategic Command DXO

I think you are right, the placket seems to go all the way down.

I'm surprised by the minimal discussion of costume pieces for Captain Andor. Is there other forum locations information can be located in? _________________ Endor Rebel Commando: Active Legion Member

I'm definitely interested in doing up a Captain Andor outfit, preferably before the movie release, though I fully understand the limitations by going just on the trailer (and the winter outfit only having the most detail work makes it a little more complicated).
Wish there was a little more to go on >_<, does anyone know a good source for a Bespin shirt (or pattern) to adjust to an Andor/R1 Rebel uniform shirt (seemingly, based on the fact that Alistair Petrie's character is also wearing the same shirt in the trailer).
Mostly looking to do this outfit:
But the vest from the new trailer looks like a cool addition too
Though a little less to go on there >_< |

A lot of places seem to be selling the jacket for Captain Cassian Andor.
Warrior Jackets is one that looks really close for $145.
the Shirt looks like a Han Solo style of shirt with the flap.
I am trying to figure out the pants and belt rig for what looks like a modified DH-17 style blaster. Not sure on the boots but they almost look like "pirate" style boots with a flap in the front from looking at his walk in the first trailer.
I would really enjoy doing this costume as well if we can get the standards for it put together _________________ "Why, you stuck up,..half-witted,..scruffy-looking,..nerf-herder!"..."Who's scruffy-looking?"

I just spent half of yesterday studying this jacket in detail and drawing up all the specs. There is a LOT going on here, as one would expect, so I imagine a lot of the cheap cosplay suppliers are going to miss most of the details.
The shirt is pretty much the same as Han's ESB shirt (the "Smuggler Shirt" listed on our site) but in a darker stone color, instead of the lighter ivory of Han's. _________________ + AD MAIOREM DEI GLORIAM + |

I am excited to have another named officer to ponder. There seems to be elements of former movies (ANH and ESB) woven into his attire. Does anyone have a good idea as to the upper parts of the boots? It almost looks like they are a separate lower boot with an attached top part, kind of like some of the old WWII boots... _________________ Todd (Toda) - former RAID XO (2017-2019)

This character has several costume changes throughout the film as depicted by the trailers. |

Just finished our jacket and VERY happy with the results:
Should have it added to our site next week.
Kind regards,
