how the heck does one decide on a lightsaber for a face jedi??
I'm thinking of starting a (female) DS Luke and am looking at the lightsabers (playing with one this weekend at Alpha Base photoshoot got me started!!)
Found this one but unsure about value; def want blade (what color??) but not sure about sound. How long should the blade be?

Any advice appreciated![/url]

if you really want to do the Death Star Luke from ROTJ, you really should get a V2, that is the one that we see the most. If you want the best when it comes to a V2, try and get a Solo's Hold. You will pay for it, especially if you decide to put in light/sound, but you will not find anything better for dueling.

The "Hero" that you linked is really only seen in Vader's hands on the Endor Moon when Luke turned himself in. If you really, really want a Hero then you should look at either Vader's Vault or KR Sabers, both are excellent quality pieces.

Stay far away from Saberforge, the thin neck tends to break when dueling.

Ultrasabers really doesn't have anything I would consider accurate.

The Hasbro just looks like a toy with that fat neck, you can do MUCH better IMO.

All of this, but also LDM for a Hero or V2, fine options.
