Hi everyone I made the rookie mistake of buying an xwing helmet from ebay after reading in the description that it was rebel legion approved. Well it has arrived and seems tiny.

This is the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Wars-Rebel-Pilot-Helmet-Prop-Costume-Kit-for-Cosplay-or-Display-/161682225440

Many thanks

Suitably scaled for ny son to wear. When put together it's difficult to get on without pulling it open at the bottom.

Sorry for looking rough haha. But you can see how tight it is.

Then when on it seems to sit ridiculously high. My boyfriend has nabbed it and using it as a display with the rest of his helmet collection.

That seller is Mark Bradley, AKA Rando Mextra here (formerly known as Jedi Mickey.)
He is an approved RL supplier, however his are on the smaller side compared to Darth Hairs and other suppliers.

There was a suggestion posted not long ago to wedge a piece of wood in between the sides to spread it open and let it sit in front of your home heater for a few days. (Not too close or you could melt it.)

That might help.

There are inner padding kits available.
Some people are using the knee-pads from Duluth Trading Co. as a base by cutting them up into sections.

Ive built a scad of Marks helmets. I replace the mohawk strip with one that is 1/2 inch wider, and cut, widen putty and sand the mohawk cap. Even then, its small.
