|
|
|
A colleague has indicated interest in portraying Major Kalonia, the Resistance physician who treated Chewbacca in TFA. I have examined the two images in the TFA Visual Dictionary (included here) and have viewed the film several times. I'm sure there are better images than the two poor scans I have included, but for now they should suffice.
I have drafted proposed costume standards, based in this research and offer them here for comments and suggestions.

PROPOSED STANDARD
Shirt: medium-weight fabric, off-white color long-sleeved shirt with stand-up collar. Worn open at the top with no visible fastenings.
Vest - tunic style vest, brown or dark olive colored medium-weight fabric. Folds over to the right with no visible fastening.
Pants - medium-fabric plain black pants with no ornamentation
Belt - 2" dark brown leather belt with plain, rectangular buckle of dark silver or pewter color.
Boots - Black boots that go up almost to the knee with rounded toes, straps with buckles at top and at ankle. Low heel for comfort.
Hair - Medium length dark colored hair
Rank Badge - Resistance officer, rank of Major
Arm Band - dark blue fabric, 4" wide, with 2" high Aurebesh lettering in white on band that translates to MED. Worn on upper left arm
OPTIONAL - Medical Kit. Aluminum case with foam padding inside to hold various pieces of equipment (Healing Generators, Bacta Bulbs and Synthflesh Dispensers) |

Suggest this formatting:

We can go ahead with this and add some screen shots in April when the DVD is released. Looks great! _________________ LCJ - Jedi and Officers

I'm planning on posting two or three proposals for a vote next week. It's better to do more than one at time to get the vote out! _________________ LCJ - Jedi and Officers

I know that you've voted on the standards, but it really seems to me that the armband is a dark green; is there any reason that it's listed as blue? |
