Awesome as always...this made my 9th year in a row at this parade, and it was the best one yet. Perfect weather and the highest turnout...55 I believe woot! Thanks for the memories everyone!

I couldn't agree with you more.
I had a wonderful time seeing everyone.
The weather was PERFECT and to have so many members out from all three groups marching under INTERNATIONAL STAR WARS COSTUMING ORGANIZATIONS without any banners being held and intermixing while walking after the cameras was great.
This is the way we will do it from here on out....a UNIFIED STAR WARS COMMUNITY.
Chewie was a hit...THANK YOU JAMES
R2 was incredible....I am sorry that he got a pebble in a wheel 3/4 of the way through to have to put him in the truck but he was great for the time he was rolling.
Cassie...Thanks for braving the ELSA chants. 
Garth...You never cease to amaze me in your resolve, and you don't let anything stop you from doing what you want. It was great to see you out in your first troop in quite a number of years.
Devon, your Jacosta Nu was amazing and I even think I heard some people in the crowd recognize you
Bill, Lillian, Cami, Brian, Troy, John, Ginny, Brooks, Conley, Jonathan, Allyson, Steve, Lisa Robar, John Jr(not official RL- John Mayes son- ROTJ Luke) and Anna....A HUGE THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL OF YOU FOR COMING OUT THIS YEAR FROM NEAR AND FAR.
20 Rebels marching is the LARGEST group to date.
It really brings a tear to my eye to have had this many Rebels this year.
I hope we are able to duplicate this next year but I am living in the moment.

Was a great time, the fans were awesome and seemed very excited. Was exhausted and slept very well last night. The only thing I would ask for next time is to do the group pic in front of the truck

I agree. I know we were not allowed to stop the truck at the coliseum and the location where it was ultimately parked was near a wall which made the space cramped, but next time the stopping point should be somewhere that everyone can gather at the side of the truck so that James can be included in the group shot.
Well, I definitely got my 10,000 steps in that day!  It was wonderful to see everyone. The fans were electric this year, weren't they?! The Channel 6 coverage was really good this time, too. Some photos from before step-off:

Thank you so much. I really enjoy spending time with you all and making wonderful memories! Certainly this year was a great treat for all. Thank you. Joel I feel like a slacker as I promised to give you some cash at the parade and completely forgot. LoL! Much thanks to those who came from so far to be together on a beautiful day sharing the Christmas spirit.
