Today got a AN-H15 Large. Was afraid that it be too small cause got a 7 1/2 size head BTW while my skull shape is like a egg...just fine. Well less ugly that I though...;-)
And while tracking idea through my local home depot like Eureka : car carpet. Yep poor man no sew talent option BTW...a universal/ no model lot seems perfect in term of material and color...till the perfection required... _________________

Back from a raid in my local home depot...a poor quality pic teaser preview...just drop things there's and there's, adding the Endor Commando gaiters in place of the accurate one...well you see...try to see what "the rock is cook in'"...
Sure a poodoo of work to do btw...(oups dunno if the forum policy allowed the word "s------d", forgive me. I am French... )
Wampagear X-wing pilot gloves ordered.
My Rebel Fleet trooper boots would make my day.

I ve read that paleosilex told that the hose is "just" a cloth hose but do a hose pocket would made a nice one :
The only prob is they sale no white one. Green, blue, orange or in my local home depot like some yellow...should paint it white or put over the white cloth hose???? _________________

The pocket hoses are covered in cloth, I don't think that you'd be able to paint it. Plus, I'm not sure how well they would keep their shape because they're supposed to shrink up a lot. You could try making a cloth cover to put over the hose, but you'd probably just be better of using the cloth cover by itself and maybe putting some rope inside to give it a little bit of shape. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley

I know you are right.
Just like the way it stretched.
Having saw how paint interact with nylon of my Endor Commando hoody ; only result had build a bright rigid rain coat like. Could be use full under rain when no rain shield or goretex one....early XXth.century tech.
But a no go for us.
Again you are spot on paint the hose. Been Not optimist on how the hose react to paint and stretching.
And shopping on my local cloth and buttons shop is like make x-mas queue hurry a 24 December. Crazy ness of house wife and grandma fighting to catch a saler. Been in the army by the past and the D.I. was less impressive...well more or less...;-p
Been too lazy or inefficient on home work or doom, I have hope for a easy way....even with progressive glasse , use needle is close to impossible for me : can't see.
Perhaps use cloth glue.
I have seen another pilot using a rope with wood ring that allowed cloth to stretch in space between wood rings. _________________

I'm still doing helmets, FYI, but just not right this moment. I'll be making some more around mid-October. _________________ B-wing Pilot - Jedi - Resistance X-wing Pilot - Temmin "Snap" Wexley
