I initially started building my TZA Havoc kit (with AMX bucket) last summer, and was able to finish the cutting, trimming, and shaping, as well as the seamless leg builds. Then the kiddies started school again, and gymnastics and swimming lessons were attended, holidays were celebrated... The usual impediments. Then the big con started coming up faster than I planned, so I entered a three-week mad dash to finish the armor up to a troopable level.

I don't have many progress pics of substance since I didn't really stop to eat or sleep, so instead, here are some pics of the finished product:

Still need a BFG and a bandolier, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Nothing fell apart or off during the troop, and mobility was pretty good!

Your suit looks amazing mate! What did you use for the 'Soft Parts?'

Cheers,

Thanks!

I was originally going to use leather, but I ended up using upholstery pleather that I already had. Worked out well, and much easier to sew.

I finished the BFG! Here's some pics from some local cons and SWCA.

Nice. Great job on the gun, mate! I just submitted mine for approval a couple of days ago.

Having a bear of a time finding a holster though.

Where did you get you AMX Bucket and how big is it on the inside? I have about a 26" head and I'm worried the TZA won't fit

AMX kind of dissapeared off the face of the Earth, luckily I got the bucket before that! If you manage to get one second hand, there's plenty of room inside, but getting your head in is the trick. TZA's bucket will be fine for you.
