Dear KJO members,

I open this post to announce the future projects for the Detachment , during the next term

-Language Translation on Costume Standards Project :

By the great growth of Star Wars around the world, especially in the legions, this project is to assemble different work groups of 2 or 3 people, where each member specializes in one language. The purpose of the project is to translate today's standards, updates to existing standards and new costumes that appear in several languages.

The languages ??that we thought are: Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Portuguese. Of course, other languages ??can be incorporated.

The purpose of this project is to provide base temples and countries that don’t possess English as their native language, and in order to help new members or recruits who do not handle well English. The advantages that can give us this project is a greater integration of members around the world, members have more tools and facilities to built their costumes.. Each work group will be managed by an appointed official, who will document all translations of each standard. Obviously every work group will be supervised and managed by Staff KJO.

For this project is an initiative of the Detachment of KJO , but the final idea is that the other Detachment can participate in a global work so that all standards are written in different languages.

-Expanded Universe costumes:

This project is to build a team ( started this year with a group to work slowly ), having the following purposes:

1 - Create subforum EU ( Full )

2 - Analyze Expanded Universe characters for time, create your standard with pictures and tutorials, taking into account the formal rule / Canon

3 - Analyze future upgrades and standards that are currently created and which correspond to the Expanded Universe Legend

This project has as main purpose the creation of standards particularly in three points:

-Improvements and updating the standards established Expanded Universe characters

-Analyze , investigate and create standards Expanded Universe characters that meet the rule Formal / Canon .

-Analyze and investigate that Expanded Universe costumes were approved by the Rebel Legion , but are not written to the standards . In this way , we can create the standards so the costume standards are established for future members to build it.

-Project Merchadising

This project is a first step of performing an analysis for each Temple and Base, worldwide, in order to see what needs and requirements needed. I have seen that in many countries have complications to purchase products offered on the Rebel Legion (at the Detachment, and Rebel Legion Base / Outpost).

In a second step it is to give tools to the Base and Temples, which could facilitate the acquisition of the product. Such as allowing a base or Temple Run to perform a patch (whose international Run is launched), parallel to the international run (obviously with different permits, within the rules and standards Rebel Legion). Thus, many of the Rebel Legion members can purchase goods that are continually offered in the Rebel Legion. This allows us to be more inclusion of members in an item that helps promote friendship and fellowship among legionaries around the world.

Creation of the charge DMO (Detachment Merchadising Officer) :

We propose for the creation of DMO KJO(Detachment Merchadising Officer) that will have objectives and responsibilities as everything related to Merchadising Detachment ( work in conjunction with the Staff of KJO ) .In this way, you can offer better service to members of Detachment regarding Merchadising and also allows the Staff of KJO can concentrate on other activities related to standards , Temples and attention to the needs of each temple .

-Project Activation and Promotion Activities in the Temples:

We have been analyzing the different Temples in each Base / Outpost, they have declined much activity on its territory or country. This project is to promote activities in temples, through the following activities:

-Participation Of the members of each Temple in Translation Standards Project, Project Merchadising and Expanded Universe Project.

-Encouraged to the Temples that users are created in different social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) so that in this way can publish activities and events in which the Temple is involved, as also introduce the new members.

-Encouraged to Temple to make an analysis and study of the needs and requirements they need in their territory or country, so since we can give Detachment tools and facilities that can help. This can only be possible with the help of all the Temples and members of Detachment.

-To Promote and encourage the temples creating your own Merchadising: Banner, pin, patch, etc.

-Encouraging Members of the Temples participation in public debates of the standards that are being modified or new clothes appear. The collaboration of all is important.

These are the projects that we raised from the Staff of KJO. They are long-term projects, but very interesting as it would allow us an enormous growth Detachment content and more members feel identified and that they can enjoy. These projects are of a general nature and invite others to participate Detachments.

Star Wars Celebration in London:

This is the most important event of 2016. It's clearly one of the main objectives of the Detachment. We will participate with Merchadising, Banner Stand and some theater where possible.

For alleged continue with the creation of temples, new members, new analysis of existing costume standards, suits, etc.

The Rebel Legion together as a whole

May the Force be with you!

Best Regards!
