Summary: ReplayFX is a 4-day convention in downtown Pittsburgh produced by the Replay Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of pinball, video games, and the gaming culture. During the event, the Replay Foundation made its massive collection of arcade games, pinball machines, retro console games, tabletop games, and more available to the public for a weekend of fun and frenzy.

The event marked the first time that the Replay Foundation hosted this convention, and they invited the Rebel Legion and Garrison Carida to walk the convention halls and to take pictures with the attendees. Ghost Base did not have a table at the event, but instead joined forces with the 501st Legion's Garrison Carida.

Members of both organizations were featured in an on-site interview with Billy Mitchell, a world-renowned gamer who was featured in the 2007 documentary, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. During the interview, Legion members posed around the 1983 Star Wars arcade game by Atari as Mitchell discussed the game and his experiences with it. (I've looked for the clip but haven't been able to find it.)

Overall, the event was a lot of fun, and attendees seemed to enjoy having us present, as indicated by lots of smiling faces, kids following us around, and comments in the ReplayFX feedback threads. In the future, I think we would benefit from having a table of our own at the event and a mention on the ReplayFX website alongside Garrison Carida to give the Rebel Legion more of an official presence.

Below are some pictures from the event, taken by me, Joshua Murphy, and Dan Beltz of the 501st Legion:
