I got this idea from someone on another forum...and it was so cool and so easy, I had to try it and share the results.

Jedi Holocron.

The base is a base ball collectors' case cube. I then scuffed it with sand paper, drew a pattern and glued it to the cube. I then cut it with an razor. I primed it, painted it with copper colored paint, the stippled it with some gold paint. It was then clear coated. I then carefully peeled the glued on template away.

It is lit with a tap light LED and has a wad of cellophane inside to defuse the light.

This project cost about $20 and turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself.

I forgot to take pictures of the painting steps but you can imagine what they look like. I get too carried away in what I am doing.

Nice job.

Not sure if you are talking to me or Crix. For me, the answer is no. These are easy enough to make yourself, though. If you would like better instructions, feel free to PM.

Wow! Shocked

The holocrons in this thread look better than all the kits I found elsewhere in my internet scavenging, that's for sure... Razz
