What wise Jedi "holocron" reminded everyone of that fact? |

Considering the result of the vote I think we do have a direction to go in. Yes, many good point were brought up, so I think we need to look it over and see how the standard proposal can be tweaked to be the best possible.
We won't ever be able to please all, but I do think we can get a good standard that will work.
Maybe we need to take this back for review and tweaking and then start a new discussion? This one has become a bit hard to keep track off. _________________ DXO of Royalty & Senatorial detachment

Hello everyone.
With the staff of KJO, we will vote two choices: The first is that suggested by Dannv and the second alternative is that suggested by Nick, to continue with option 1 (the winning option) review it.
So, we took a course
Thank you very much.

Hello everyone
The Staff of KJO decided to continue the improvements in Option 1 (which won the polls)
We restart the debate, from the comparison that Nik made between the option 1 (who won) and the current Custome Standard.

It might be best to actually decide if we're dong a standard that replicates star wars costumes or one that makes custom costumes that might, sort-of, maybe, look like they belong in star wars. That would give a lot of help to deciding where to go with a standard. (It should be noted that the idea of custom costumes get a lot of flak in the charter discussion area and our basic standard is more a custom costume than anything else.) |

While not a poll on that specific question, the last vote was pretty clear with both the voting numbers and the discussion. There were very few members that voiced an opinion that option 1 or 2 would result in the scenario you describe. If anything, there was more concern that options were being limited.
The changes between our current standard and the current proposal are not radical, so almost any "custom costumes that might, sort-of, maybe, look like they belong in star wars" that make the proposed standard "garbage" and the Rebel Legion a "joke" would be possible under the current standard. (your words)
Have you seen these types of costumes being approved? Personally, I haven't and see your argument as repetitive and non-constructive. (no disrespect intended) _________________

Not trying to stir the pot or anything but am i to understand that we're voting to change the standards for a group that has around 1K members, where only 46 voted?, or are the final numbers higher than that? |

perhaps we can get a new thread for each option to discuss pros and cons and that way it is separated and not so confusing after 4 options and 21 pages |

Audrey, the intent, as posted by Augustin, is to focus on any necessary revisions to option 1 and I've put together the comparison to help ease the confusion.
I'll go in and add the two races noted recently here. _________________

I would love to go through the comments again and make note of what has been said, but sadly I don't have time for it as I'm going on vacation.
I do have a request for the rest of you though: could you please look for references, from all media sources, for the prequel style jedi and just prequel jedi in general so that we can use that for comparison and to see if anything is missed/supported by images.
That should help us in finishing this standard. _________________ DXO of Royalty & Senatorial detachment
