Hello! I've decided to start a B-Wing build and would like to get some information if its available. I've looked through the posts, and while I'm sure I missed this info, I'd love if anyone could provide the following:

-Red Flightsuit: best way acquire one?

That's actually my only real question at the moment. I've already found multiple options for the spats and boots, along with other components. If I have to learn how to sew one myself I'll give it a shot haha.

I plan to build the chestbox from foam (I have the correct dimensions, I think. Heh.)

Not really sure where to begin with the helmet but this is a marathon, not a sprint. I plan on taking my time.

Coveralls... The ones I know of off the top of my head are Dickies, Berne Workwear and Alexandra Workwear (the latter is in the UK). I think Red Kap has red coveralls, too, but I'm not positive. I have fabric swatches from all three companies and each company has a different shade of red but the shade shouldn't really matter, even in the movie different pilots have different shades of red coveralls.

I debuted my B-wing suit at Celebration ... it was a Redcap.

Apologies for the rather newbie-ish question, but what is a "Redcap", specifically?

Perhaps something to do with the Red issued to British Army MilitaryPolice. Their tradition color and before berets on the field, their service cap got a MP red cloth cover top...

So the only ones I'm seeing that come in red have the very visible zippers in the front, but the vest and chestbox should cover those up correct?

Yeah, the vest should cover it. You could always add a strip of material up the zipper to hide it, that's how it was done on the RotJ suits.
