In the process of selling mine, someone has asked me if these boots would meet standards for the Snow Bunny Padme.

http://www.amazon.com/Fashion-Heel-Womens-Artificial-Leather/dp/B00G3SWDU8/ref=sr_1_2?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1383952165&sr=1-2&keywords=white+leather+boots

The heel doesn't look too high, the boots are pull-on, they're white, and synthetic leather. Thoughts?

Alternately, what about these with the buckle removed?

Just another one for people to look at ( I am the buyer ( for my gf not me ) )

http://www.amiclubwear.com/shoes-boots-tpg-face-18white.html?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adwords&id=22549717391&utm_content=pla&gclid=COb7jsGV17oCFVRnOgodnVMAZg

These have buckles but can be cut off they also have a zipper on the inside it looks like but have a wedge.

I agree, the second one with the buckle cut off is probably the best choice:

http://www.amazon.com/BeautyLover-Womens-Colorant-Knee-high-Buckles/dp/B00FTOSK9K/ref=sr_1_32?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1383971122&sr=1-32

The third one isn't bad except it isn't quite as fitted, so I think in the long run, the second one is your best bet.

Hiya

Can I revive this thread and ask if these are suitable minus the buckle?

I think the heel on it may be too high since it says it is 3inches and up.

But the guidelines say wedge preferred with no heel height given ... in some of the pics its quite a wedge heel ...

I've always found boots to be one of the hardest parts of any costume Smile

The boots she is draw with are definitely wedges, although the soles are white instead of black. I like the first boot you found if the soles could be painted white instead of black.

I couldn't find a unitard I liked, so I made one out of swimsuit Lycra and swimsuit lining using this pattern:

here are my boots :

I found it on lightinthebox's website.
There is no regular stock. The boots made of Pleather were knee high, but can be easily cut and resew shorter. the fur trim isn't sew on the boot, I made a kind of garter around the calf.

For the unitard, I bought it on zentaifan's website. I asked it with personnalized size, removable hand, no feet and open face.
The back zip is going at the rear of the head, maybe later I will order the same one with removable hood (It is better with long hair ) Laughing

I did something similar with my boots as well. I have the hook part of the hook and eye sewn into the feathers so they clip to the top lip of the boot. That way I can use the boots for other costumes as well.
