I have tried to build a Clone Wars Luminara saber. But it just is not working out the way I was hoping and looks rather sloppy and just cheap.

Anyone know a decent custom saber maker that could machine a nice Luminara saber?

I had found someone that could make one for me, but I don't remember where I found them.

Basicly her saber looks like Darth Maul's turned backwards....

It would need to have a removable blade (which I already have) and working electronics. The sound board is not really needed as that just drains the batteries.

Anything that might be fixable on what you've made so far?

I looked around and found a couple of smiths that had made Luminara sabers before, but the ones I found look like they've been inactive for a while and they were the live action saber rather than the CW version.

Do you have any good images of the CW version? I only found this one.

Since none of the CW stuff really looks like metal to me, I'm thinking a good version could be made from PVC.

Are there any difference between Luminara's saber and Plo Koon's? Well, other than blade color?

This one was made by One Replicas: http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=29761.0 I don't see any of his listings on ebay right now, but he does seem active on the IRA forums.

I can't speak for the cartoon, only the movie hilts, yes there are differences. Most notably, the 'fins' on the pommel are brass for Luminara's saber. I have one and it is fantastic!

You can contact the One Replicas guy directly on getting an empty saber. I have a few different ones from him and then had someone add the electronics in. Pretty good quality and not overly expensive.
