Hey everyone im curently building my first rebel costume and building one for my good friend Andrew Marsh who is already a approved Rebel at the same time. Im gonna post a link to my face book album since i have way to many photos and will be continually posting phots and updates to that page.

So I started out with two Richies armor kits and have to say that he got me my kits in less than a week after payment which really shocked me! That being said i have gone trough and thouroghly researched all the mods and used RL member Seven-Skulls build thread as a template to follow.

Here are the kits a few days after recieving them and i had one taped together for test fitting.

and here are the two helmets as of this morning. Now that i have pretty much all the parts fitted and all the mods done i will strip them back down and start the long process of painting and making all the stencils for the logos.

I will now be also researching how to create the chestbox and bellytube on top of a million other things im doing but so far im very satisfied with the outcome.

Here is the link to the FaceBook page:

Thanks for looking and i will be posting more soon.

Nice job on 'em. Though I'm curious, why are both painted the same way?

Asked and answered already in PMs ... he said the second one is a paint gig for a pilot in another base.

Yeah like Jon said its for my good friend and we will be flying together as pilot and bomber although we may not troop together as much as we would like.

Sorry for the slow response but i have been very busy.

We are now working on the vest and i have decided to follow Jeff's version which is more accurate. i have also sent a message to scott (Skaught) for help in making the vest more accurat as far as the corrections he stated in a post on Jeff's thread. Im hopping he can maybe mak a sketch to what the patches and details are really like.

Here is the vest so far. we would have had more work done by now but im waiting to see if i here from scott before moving forward.

Here is a picture of the finished chest boxes.

more picture to come as we progress on this build.

Will do i take lots of pics of the build process most of it ends up on my facebook page but ill post as much as possible here as well.

Here are some pics of the inside of the buckets. I used a neoprene closed cell foam the same material thats used in baseball batting helmets and then painted the interior black.

Here is my son who is planning on following in my footsteps!

Lastly here are pics of the bucket on me. great fit!
