My wife says victory, I say Rebel bird...

Either way it looks cool.. sorta reminds me of the Ohio State Buckeyes football helmets..

"Victory" for two reasons: (1) they appear on the helmets in the movies that way, and (2) using the rebel birds make them seem like kill marks (as in you're shooting down rebels, not imps)

i like the rebel bird, but i think i see your point. please understand that is not what i intended to do when i had those stickers.

also those rebel birds were not cheap. they were custom made for my helmet.

the victory symbols are photo paper. i might need to buy some decal paper. i wish someone told me ahead of time.

what are imps?

Imps = Imperials, imperial forces

I´d prefer the "V" symbol, too. Looks more movie like, imho.

Jon,
If I do keep the rebel birds. Will this effect my application if I use this helmet with other flight suits, such as a-wing?

Was the rebel bird observation your personal opinion or that of the costume judge?

I just want some clarification.

My personal opinion Brian. I just wanted you to know how it could be interpreted both by your fellow Rebels, as well as Imperials and the general public. You might find yourself having to explain it more than you'd like.

Water-slide decals tend to be around $10-12 USD for a set of... three sheets, I think? Or maybe it's six sheets... I can't remember now. I'm not sure how much decal sheets are, I always use water-slide for my helmets.

The victory stickers are done. I will post photos later.

If anyone is interested in the victory stickers. I can send them to you as a adobe illustrator file (.ai). The image is vector so the colors can be modified.
