Hey all, I've been trying to navigate the forum to find out if anybody is selling a run of acceptable ROTJ Luke Skywalker outfit without luck (I probably just missed it since I'm new and still learning my way around the forums) If anybody would point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

To my knowledge, no one sells the complete costume. Most costumes are "built" by assembling the various components from various folks (who make the individual components) or by making them yourself.

Since you are not a Rebel Legion member yet, you do not have access to the "for sale" forums for costumes. There's definite and valid reasons for this that I can explain, if you like.

BUT...you do have access to the Luke Skywalker Forums...where you ask questions...like you did. People who have made the Luke costumes will chime in at some point. You can also view various people's profiles and see who has made the costume you want to build and then PM them for information. Then...you can also search through the "Members" list. Here's the link:
http://www.rebellegion.com/members.php
Click on "Jedi" and start browing. You'll see many members with that costume.

PLEASE stay away from complete costumes that are for sale on ebay (and some other sites). These are often not approvable by the Rebel Legion (even if they say so in their product description) without some serious modifications.

The Jabba's Throne room version with the cape, it just looks so boss. But other than that I like the Death Star Duel version.

One other thing I was considering buying the Museum Replicas version of the Luke Skywalker ROTJ Outfit but I did hear some mixed reviews about that. If anybody has one and can fill me in on if it's worth it... Also a plus.

The Museum Replica's is approvable as Death Star Duel but not Jabba's palace.

What needs to be done to make it approvable for Jabba's Palace?

you can't really, the tunic is just made out of the wrong fabric. It photographs all wrong. The color is off , it is too dark...if it could be made to be a lighter grey color but I don't know how you could/would do that.

A good way to weather black fabric is to mist it with either silver or gray spray paint.

Send a PM to Alien Arms Dealer:

They've done some spectacular work and can do that costume.

The vest, tabbard scarf, and obi sash are fairly easy to make. I made a set for TJ in the Canadian Base out of black silk noil, which was then washed and broken down to that charcoal colour.
