yup the corrillians distinguish themselves wit hgreen , so the color scheme looks good .

also in regardsto standards it looks like there is no longer a distinction of old or new republic jedi...we are now just jedi ..

Magnius,

Thank you.

I believe so, as long as the boots and belt/s correlate. Always nice to have green Jedi. Smile

Ionicdesign,

I am working on that.

That preview of the outfit is looking quite promising, I think!

By the way, hello fellow (future) Kashyyyk Base-ian. Smile

I have a light saber question: One of the things I want to have is two lightsabers as a part of my costume. The first will be New Republic standard. However the second will be Old Republic standard; using a Covertect Wheel. The history on that is: it's a family saber (passed from parent to child; after the child has reaching their Jedi Knighthood).

Would this be a problem? Or should I just get approved with one, the Republic saber, and add the Old Republic saber later; after approvial?

Just get approved with one. Adding the other is like adding a "pouch". It's no big deal and shouldn't require rejudging. Just make sure you adhere to the lightsaber standards (no toys, preferred metal hilts, etc.).

Yeah. They makes some really nice ones. And, if you don't need to go uber fancy, you can get some REALLY cheap. I think their plain stunt sabers can be on sale for under $60. Just about can't beat that. Of cousre...I'm not sure, but, the cheaper ones might not have a belt attachment system and might not have a removable blade?

Having them add a Covertec clip is an extra $14 (parts and service), and all of their blades are removable.

SithariRog,

What I am thinking of doing is getting one of their sabers, with sound, and replacing the pummel with a TCSS, d-ring attached, pummel.

To everyone else: have you tried this? What were your results?

Tan'mar - Ultrasabers' sabers with sound will fit TCSS parts, so that would work if you put one of their pommels on. I had one of their sabers with sound at one point and switched out the pommel with several other ones from TCSS. When I sold the saber I put the original pommel back on.

New Question(s):

I have been searching for information about the pants.

1) What is best to buy?
2) Would scrubs be okay?
3) If okay what, scrubs, web site did you go to?

Update:

My question was answered; by a costume judge. I am no longer thinking about buying scrubs.

Can one of the Corellian Jedi here help me find some pants? Where did you go; if you bought your pants?

Well...scrubs are okay, but make sure they're not on the "thin" side. This means you might spend a little more for a better grade scrub (I like Landau...I wear them in my work and go through about 4 sets a year...or a tad more often).

Scrubs also come in a variety of colors!

The thing is, most of the part of the scrub pants that make it obvious that they are scrubs is covered up by the boots and obi (and lower part of the outer tunic). ***IF*** you're wearing scrub pants and it's obvious they are scrub pants, then...that might be a problem.

As for where to buy pants. I friend of mine got some REALLY nice khaki pants from a trift store for $2.98....seriously. So, you might want to check out your local thrift store Wink

Hi all,

I have a new question: what is the best boots to buy; in a brown color? I am thinking of ditching the black boots; tooooo many years of sore feet, while trooping.
